Stanton Demo Recordings

In the beginning of August I recorded some stuff of my own with Bert Huysentruyt as a sort of demo for a band that I'm putting together. We borrowed lots of stuff from friends (especially some great fetish guitars and fetish mics) and started messing around. The demo hasn't been mixed yet, but you can hear an unmixed version of the song 'In Your Light' on Bert's website: www.berthuysentruyt.com If you like it, stay tuned and I will soon post the address of the band's wesite. This is me recording the slide take of an acoustic song on a vintage Guild through a Neumann U87. What a sound!

The interface we used was a firepod. Just 8 channels, but since we recorded everything separately, this was usually enough to do drums.
